Q: How to use the WR-5100K & FR-5000 properly?
A: Target can be anything, which are 3 to 5m's away from the machine. For example,  I f you are measuring a child, target could be their mother, so they would pay more attention.
There should be no object to interfere the sight of patient to look at the target. For example, nobody should stand between the machine and the target.

Q: What is the advantage of WR-5100K & FR-5000 compare to regular Auto Refractometer?
A: By looking at a real target, you would be able to prevent the instrumental myopia and receive more real (accurate) refraction of patient's eyes. In addition, you would be able to check if the patient's glasses fit themselves.
You can measure a patient with nystagmus.
You can measure a patient with strabismus suppression eyes while you suppress.
FR-5000:
It is easy to carry around. For example, if you need to go to old people's home for check up, there would be no hassle.
You can measure a patient who is lying down on the bed. Further, you can use it during IOL surgery to check if the IOL lens really fit to the person or not.
You can use this machine as a Portable Type Auto-Refractometer as well as a Console Type Auto-Refractometer with the optional accessory "Console Table Model: FCS-1".
