| Our parent company, Shigiya Machinery Works
Ltd., is well known in the field of Industrial
Machine Manufacturer as a pioneer. In 1974,
the Lens Edger department was separated,
and our company, Grand Seiko Co., Ltd. was
established as an independent company. Since
then, we have been manufacturing the state
of art products that relate to Human Eyes
by using the technology of Shigiya Machinery
that has been accumulated from the long experience.
Our policy is to challenge everything with
pure mind. This policy has not been changed
and kept since our parent company was established
in 1916. Our belief is that we can produce
a pure and high quality product with only

3 Dimensional Lens Edger and Portable Auto
Refractometer. Since a new idea is always
required, everyone is putting all of their
effort under the strong pressure. Thus, its
sense of mission and achievement when we
